Understanding the environmental pressures, we’re transforming our business model to offer eco-friendly, energy-efficient products. Our ambitions extend beyond self-transformation; we aim to collaborate with industry partners for broader sectoral changes.

 

Balabala is fundamentally committed to enhancing environmental sustainability and optimizing resource use. Our sustainable products are crafted from materials that are low-carbon and renewable, making them more environmentally friendly. In line with China "3060 dual carbon strategy", Balabala has set its own development objectives, focusing on the dual pillars of sustainable product development and carbon footprint tracking.

· Sustainable Business Model

Our supply chain system, the foundation of our model, is proficient and adaptable. We’re building a responsible supply chain, implementing strict policies and scientific management. This provides consumers with a variety of sustainable products, empowering them to reduce their environmental impact and helping us maintain our commitment to sustainability.

· Sustainable Supply Chain System

Balabala has a “Green Development Management Plan” and a leadership team to green its supply chain, adopting a unified supply chain information management platform (SCM system) that leverages big data for full life cycle management of suppliers. Balabala prioritizes environmentally trustworthy suppliers and rejects those not complying with environmental protection policies.

· Sustainable Product Development

Balabala, is committed to environmental sustainability by offering eco-friendly clothing and footwear. Utilizing sustainable materials like regenerated cellulose and bio-based fibers, we’ve developed a range of sustainable products.

 

As of 2023, 11% of our products, including T-shirts, pants, bodysuits, underwear, and toddler shoes, are sustainable. We aim to expand this range, providing more sustainable choices for consumers and ensuring a safer, more comfortable experience for children.

Our Value

The value of the Balabala is not only reflected in the design and quality of our products but also in the public welfare projects we have carried out for a long time.

In 2010, Balabala launched "Love in the Box" themed public welfare project. Since the start of the project, Balabala has taken on the responsibility of helping children and has held multiple forms of activities such as offline roadshows and charity runs, using the "box" as a medium to spread love to dozens of impoverished schools, children's intelligence training centers, and welfare institutions for children.

In total, Balabala has donated products and goods worth over one million RMB to thousands of children in need, spreading love to every child who needs help. Balabala always believes that public welfare can not only cultivate children's sense of social responsibility and love for others from a young age but also help children grow and learn to share and spread love through participation.

In the future, Balabala's "Love in the Box" public welfare project will continue to focus on children with special needs, weaving a path of growth for them with love and creating a better tomorrow for them. Balabala sincerely invites enthusiastic participation from all walks of life and calls for unity and continued attention to public welfare and children's growth.
